Patient Portrait for Corcept Therapeutics

I wanted to share a recent shoot I did for Corcept Therapeutics. The images were used on the article, “Navigating Hypercortisolism: Janice’s Story.” Working with Health and Commerce (healthandcommerce.com), we went to great lengths to ensure the process was quick and easy for Janice, focusing on making her feel comfortable. I location-scouted a nearby park with stunning views, allowing us to shoot close to her home.

Despite the challenging 110°F Florida humidity, we cranked through all the shots in under an hour! The goal was to capture Janice’s strength and resilience in a way that felt authentic and real. The team really came together for this—hair and makeup were handled by Valerie Girard (antonymcosmetics.com), and digital work was expertly done by Orlando Noa (OrlandoNoa.com).

You can check out the final images featured in the article here and on Corcept’s LinkedIn as well.

If you have any upcoming projects or need help capturing your vision, I’d love to chat!

Best,

Steve

Originally from England, I graduated from the University of Gloucestershire with a degree in fashion and editorial photography. After college I moved to London to start my photographic career and shot for BBC Television, Virgin Atlantic and other clients. After six years of working in London and before life got too serious, I left England for the most amazing years of my life traveling the world (I never went home). I have 20 years of experience working in almost every aspect of the industry, I'm a father of three and love to photograph people and especially kids. I'm based on the East coast of the USA between Miami and New York (I live on a plane). I'm at home shooting in studio, on the beach (preferably on an island with fruity drinks), in zero gravity, and everything in between. Looking forward to working with you, Steve For bookings and information: Miami: +1.305.479.4941 New York: +1.917.267.8711 London: +44 (0) 208.12.305.49
