All Business, Business Portraits + some fun ones
Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing Frederick Tan, a Partner and Wealth Advisor at Cerity Partners. The shoot was all about capturing a mix of polished business portraits for professional use and some lighter, more relaxed shots to show his personality.
Fred’s a natural in front of the camera—calm, collected, and approachable, which perfectly reflects his role as a trusted advisor. We started with the essentials: classic headshots with clean backgrounds, focusing on sharp, professional energy. With great lighting and a few subtle adjustments, we nailed images that exude confidence and professionalism.
After ticking those off, we shifted gears and experimented with a few relaxed poses. Fred’s sense of humor came through, making for candid, engaging shots that could add warmth to his online presence. These moments, where someone’s personality really shines, are always my favorite to capture.
